Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English actress, model and television star that gained notoriety in the 1990s when she was Hugh Grant's girlfriend. When Hugh Grant's movie Four Weddings and a Funeral was the focus of worldwide interest in the media, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace dress with gold safety-pins. The dress instantly earned the attention of media. Hurley's relationship with Estee Lauder, a cosmetics maker, has been seen as a defining moment in her career. Her first modeling gig was at Estee Lauder when she was just 29 years old. The model has been a model since the year 1995 for their products, especially perfumes like Sensuous Intuition as well as Pleasures. In the popular spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she portrayed Vanessa Kensington. Hurley currently models and designs the brand's beachwear line. "I Loved a Girl a straightforward ode to sexual curiosity, backed by the beat of a hardedged electropop caused her to make a bigger splash within a couple of months. It quickly sparked controversy as some critics derided the song for encouraging sexual relations between gays and lesbians as well as others argued that the explicit scenario the song depicted sparked the fantasies of males about female sexuality. I Kissed a Girl was an immediate hit for Perry's album of the same name in 2008. of the Boys in 2008 due to the mix of excitement and melodicism.
