Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and filmmaker. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie can be seen in her long-lasting career as an actor and actress. Her professional career started with a modeling job in the year 1970 then she rose quickly to prominence. Beginning in the 1980s she took classes in acting and theater prior to performing on stage in Los Angeles. In 1987, Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. The first film she acted in, Major League was released in the year following. Russo played Tom Berengers 'love interest. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities as an actress the public was enticed by her consistency. Her praise was for her performance of Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak and also in Outbreak, where she competed with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She claims that she never had a passion in acting. She went on a self-imposed hiatus. In the film Thor the actress returned to acting. The Oscar-winning movie of her husband Nightcrawler was another of her roles. She then went on to star in light-hearted comedies including The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the most prestigious UFC female fighters. She started her career in amateur fighting, competing in various regional promotions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her success in and out of the Octagon has helped make her a household brand since she joined the UFC. Namajunas is born the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. Rose played sports like basketball as well as kickboxing while she was growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by the 18-year-old at the age of 18, and she went on to beat two opponents via submission. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC Strawweight on December 14, 2014, when she was just 22 years old. Rose has had the highs and lows of her career. But she has always come out the winner. In April, 2015 Rose took on Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout less than 3 seconds into the first round One which resulted in not only winner of the title, but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along and making history in MMA since this match was the only the first time that woman was a champion in any of the major promotions worldwide . After this win, Namajunas was able to have a number of other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
